 LEAN EVENT 2024</a>\nClean Event 2024Don’t compromise\, correlate: A Tec
hnical Study A study is presented by Fastmicro in collaboration with Therm
o Fisher Scientific that demonstrates a >20x cycle-time increase in partic
le characterization on a Phenom SEM-EDX in combination with Fastmicro part
icle measurement data. This is achieved by combining single FOV scattermet
rology rapid particle detection and localization with SEM-EDX’s characte
rization capabilities. This accelerated workflow enables on-the-spot parti
cle contamination root-cause analysis\, promising significant efficiency i
mprovements for instance in the lithography supply chain\, which are requi
red to provide validated ultra-clean parts for Grade-1 manufacturing envir
onments. Dennis de Graaff\,Fastmicro B.V Dennis de Graaff is Process Engin
eer at Fastmicro B.V. He joined Fastmicro in 2023 after his graduation as
BASc. Chemistry at Avans University in plasma chemical engineering at DIFF
ER\, the Dutch Institute for Fundamental Energy Research. Dennis is respon
sible for particle sampling engineering projects that contribute to proces
s optimization and new product development.. Paula Vena\, Phd\, Thermo Fis

ist at Thermo Fisher Scientific\, Inc. She obtained her PhD from the Chemi
cal Engineering and Chemistry Department of the Eindhoven University of Te
chnology and later worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Biomedical E
ngineering field. With her strong background in chemistry and electron mic
