Job Description 

As the technical sales manager for Fastmicro, you are responsible to bring in potential High-tech customers who need to reach the highest standards of cleanliness to reach high yield. Together with your colleagues, you ensure we grow internationally with a growing product portfolio and service. Not only growing the product portfolio, but also to expand to other high tech BtB microtechnology industries, like Display, High Precision manufacturing and other microtechnology industries. Because of the growth, you will travel international to customers and international events in the future. 

You share and embody the Fastmicro vision towards clean and green smart factories, enabled by our metrology equipment, software solutions and service globally. You guide our customers in the value perception, their business case creation, manage the intake of requirements till proposal generation and provide demo’s and tests to show evidence about performance and benefits, giving your contact a great customer experience. From first knowledgeable and collaborative contact, to aftersales and troubleshooting. You are comfortable that contract management of nda’s, terms and conditions, supply agreements, service level agreements, etcetera’s are by default part of the process in this industry. You apply key account strategies, building on contact and multi stakeholder relations. Knowledge is your advantage and relations is your nature. You manage external and internal stakeholders pro-actively. You are inquisitive and eager to learn about content and people. And result driven with a focus on customer satisfaction.

The products you will be selling are the Fastmicro Sample Scanner to qualify parts and assemblies, Fastmicro particle defect inspection systems for wafers, reticles and pellicles, and Fastmicro Fallout Scanners to monitor particle deposition over time for clean processes in cleanrooms. These systems allow fast, quantitative and easy to operate inspections for engineers, and for operators in cleanroom manufacturing.

Your Profile and Ambition 

Most importantly, as our new technical sales specialist you must have a commercial drive. But you also have affinity with technology and the microtechnology industry specifically. With your strong communication skills and technical affinity, you advise our customers about our inspection systems to inspect clean products and clean processes. You enjoy bringing our Fastmicro surface particle measurement systems to the attention of our potential customers and as a result convince them to consider to buy at accurate and fast pace.

What you bring to the table is:

  • 3-10 years’ experience with technical sales and business development in the high-tech BtB industry
  • A bachelor engineering or physics. But it is also an interesting position for masters or PhD’s
  • Experience and good network in the High-tech industry, contamination control is a plus
  • It’s a plus if you have experience in industrial metrology, or analytical instruments. In the lab and in manufacturing.
  • Application advisor to process engineers and quality engineers that are working on cleanliness controls.
  • Experience with new sales methods, digital tools, CRM, preferably also in contract management
  • Good presenter, you are ‘the face’ of the company to our customers, trusted and appreciated advisor.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written). Dutch is a plus.
  • Self-propelling, yet enjoy working closely together in a scale-up team
  • Living and working (permit) in The Netherlands and is able to travel worldwide
