April 3rd marked a significant day in the calendar of semiconductor professionals across the Netherlands, as Fastmicro hosted its highly anticipated Dutch SEMICON networking meet-up. The event, which took place in a vibrant, informal setting, aimed to bring together a select group of industry experts with hands-on experience in engaging with global foundries.

The evening was filled with engaging discussions, the sharing of insights, and the strengthening of connections within the semiconductor community. Fastmicro took the opportunity to provide an update on our journey towards scaling to foundries and our ambitions to disrupt the foundry market with our innovative solutions. Our guests enjoyed a selection of drinks and pizzas, fostering a relaxed atmosphere for networking and idea exchange.

The Launch of FM-PDS

One of the highlights of the meet-up was the introduction of Fastmicro’s latest achievement - the launch of our first full-size Particle Defect Inspection System, the FM-PDS range, for front-side and back-side wafers, EUV pellicles and reticles. This state-of-the-art system represents a pivotal milestone in our journey, capable of matching the high-volume manufacturing speeds of the semi-industry while offering significant enhancements in Fab Cleanliness Control and Smart Manufacturing strategies. Our commitment to reducing defect inspection times for quantitative surface particle measurements at sub-micrometer scales was met with enthusiastic feedback from attendees, who were keen to learn more about our solutions and the impact they could have on the industry.
